The GeSiMEx team will hold an internal workshop with Sebastian Gluth (Decision Neuroscience, Basel) and Jan Engelmann (Neuroeconomics, Amsterdam) on 14 November at Flandrischer Hof in the city of Cologne. After lunch, we will discuss some of the recent work of Jan and Sebastian on economic decision making and cognitive biases. The goal of the team is to learn more about research in the field and to discuss with the research potential methodological and philosophical questions concerning theory choice and model comparisons, especially in light of the potential choice criteria of simplicity and generalizability. For further questions, please contact Jens Harbecke.
